The Loan Partner supports the Loan Originator by assisting prospective clients through the loan approval and closing process. This role also involves helping to find new clients and fostering relationships with third-party business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between clients and the Loan Originator.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all documents are accurately completed in Encompass.
- Collect, verify, and review required documentation, securing necessary signatures.
- Provide loan disclosures in compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines.
- Maintain professional interactions with clients throughout the loan process.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with third-party partners like real estate agents and title companies.
- Stay updated on loan products and real estate market trends.
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist in training staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Encompass and Microsoft Outlook.
- High school diploma required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Professional demeanor.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent mortgage sales experience.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC loan products.
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and AUS system.
