We are excited to have a high-impact position available within our Construction Lending department: Construction Draw Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who is not only experienced in construction lending and draw management, but who thrives on relationship-building, problem-solving, and keeping projects moving forward with accuracy and urgency.

You’ll be the hands-on point person managing draw requests, coordinating inspections, verifying progress, and ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines — while also supporting our sales ecosystem by delivering a stellar client experience to builders, borrowers, realtors, and internal partners.

This is not an underwriting or back-office-only role — this is a front-facing, high-communication, momentum-driving seat that requires confidence, clarity, and the ability to turn complexity into calm.

 

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Operational Duties

  • Manage the full lifecycle of construction draw requests from submission to funding.
  • Review budgets, invoices, inspections, and change orders for accuracy and eligibility.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections and maintain communication throughout construction phases.
  • Track project progress and proactively identify delays, budget issues, or risks.
  • Ensure compliance with loan program guidelines, investor requirements, and internal policies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and upload all required items into LOS in real time.
  • Partner closely with underwriting, processing, closing, and accounting teams to ensure seamless flow.

Client-Facing & Sales-Support Functions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for builders, borrowers, and agents regarding construction progress and draw status.
  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships that drive trust, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Provide proactive updates to all parties and deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the company’s sales-first culture.
  • Troubleshoot challenges with urgency and get ahead of issues before they impact timelines.
  • Support loan officers by helping maintain high client satisfaction scores throughout construction.
  • Represent the company professionally in builder meetings, walkthroughs, and construction check-ins.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • 2+ years in construction lending, construction draw management, inspection coordination, or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, inspections, and timelines.
  • Experience interacting directly with borrowers, builders, or real estate professionals.

Compensation & Structure

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance incentives tied to client satisfaction, timeline management, and project pipeline volume
